What makes us different?

It's partly our in-depth expertise, spanning business psychology, organisation development and Human Resources. It's partly the breadth of our experience in the design, implementation and evaluation of a variety of people processes across a spectrum of organisations in the corporate and public sectors. It's also our willingness to challenge and question conventional wisdom through our commitment to evidence-based practice. Mainly it's the trust we establish with our clients. We listen to explore options and find practical solutions. And we do what we say we will do, and we get things done quickly. We don't complicate the "simple stuff". And we simplify the "complex issues".

Some of our people

Our consultancy team is led by Andrew Munro (MA, C Psychol), who has over 20 years experience in talent management. Author of "Practical Succession Management: How to Future Proof Your Organisation", Andrew has worked with over 200 organisations in the design and implementation of robust solutions - from designing recruitment processes for front line roles in retailing, coaching Chief Constables in team development, evaluating the effectiveness of testing the "knowledge" for London cabbies, to mapping Board succession in financial services.

Andrew is also a Director of Diversity Gains, a consultancy set up with Professor Bedi of Kings College London to rethink and reposition cultural competence and diversity.

Ann Hartley (BSc, MSc Organisational Psychology, Diploma in Counselling) heads up our assessment activity, involved in the design and implementation of assessment and development centres as well as coordinating our practice in individual assessment.

Tony Day manages our consultancy support. With experience of planning and managing high volume and rapid turn-around projects for HBOS, DCSF, ABN Amro, Valuation Office Agency, Tony provides responsive support to ensure speed of project implementation.

Michelle Jones (BSc Hons) coordinates our survey projects. She has supervised survey design and implementation for a range of clients, including National Air Traffic Services, National Grid, KPMG, Kier Group. Michelle also manages the set up of on line interview tool kits.

Angela Skears manages our 360 feedback activity, designing and managing bespoke systems against client requirements for organisations as varied as Trelleborg, Urenco, Cabinet Office, Sony and the Rank Group. Angela also supports the implementation of client projects, from communication and launch through to trend analysis and evaluation.

Susanna Douglas-Mann (BA, Dip LL) has worked in a variety of management development and O.D. roles in the financial services and utilities industries. Susanna's consultancy focus is working with organisations to rethink performance management processes and connect their strategic goals with business plans and personal development.

Fiona Jones provides consultancy support. With experience of planning and managing high volume and rapid turn-around projects. Fiona provides responsive support to ensure speed of project implementation.

AM Azure also has a network of associates and partnerships with other consulting firms and coaching practices in the UK, as well as overseas.
